On Wednesday, 21st May, Ikos Resorts, supported by MMGY Grifco, raised a glass to ‘10 years of Love’ with an exclusive anniversary breakfast event hosted at Spring. Invited to join the team for this prestigious occasion were a selection of travel and lifestyle journalists, all keen to mark a decade of Ikos, and more importantly, hear what is coming up next for the pioneering all-inclusive brand.

Bright and early, guests were welcomed into the beautiful Spring restaurant at Somerset House, with a selection of fruit juices, teas, and coffees. The room was soon filled with excitement as guests celebrated the brand and discussed all things Ikos! Just around the corner from the entryway, the private dining space was overflowing with stunning floral displays, curated by Lys Lodnon. Large bespoke arrangements adorned plinths surrounding the celebratory cake, baked by Luminary Bakery, accompanied by delicate bud vases scattered down the tables, bringing the space to life.  On the menu was a selection of gourmet breakfast dishes, both for sharing and individually plated. Dotted along the two tables, guests could help themselves to lemon and polenta muffins, fern verrow berry and yoghurt loaf, bircher muesli and poached nespoles with honey as well as delicious Gariguette strawberries. Each guest was also served perfectly soft-boiled eggs with harissa, slow-cooked chard, and sourdough toast.

Following some words by Ikos Resort’s Communications Manager, Candela Catalan, and a presentation by Patricia Cerdá, Group Brand Strategy & Creative Director of Sani/Ikos Resorts, a toast was made to Ikos Resorts and the cake was swiftly whisked away to be sliced by the Spring team. This was then packaged up and handed out to guests as they left the venue, alongside luxury goodie bags containing the latest issue of Ikos magazine, Greek olive oil, and Ikos cookies!

2025 marks 10 years since the opening of Ikos Resorts’ inaugural resort, Ikos Olivia, and the group has marked this occasion by announcing exciting developments portfolio-wide, including the completion of Ikos Olivia’s renovation as well as further expansion of its Mediterranean footprint, with four new resorts planned between 2026 and 2029.
